Techno Girl is an innovative job-shadowing programme designed to encourage the uptake of girls into careers in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). Girls are able to experience the world of work in STEM, enabling them to make informed career choices. Premised on the principle that exposure to the workplace on a structured, long-term basis contributes towards uptake of STEM careers, the vision is to enable sustained employment opportunities for girls and to end the cycle of poverty for women.
