Muthanyi Robinson Ramaite – Group Chairman

Muthanyi Robinson Ramaite currently serves on the Boards of United Manganese of Kalahari as Deputy CEO, Majestic Silver Trading 40, Vuselela Mining, Pitsa Ya Setshaba Holdings, Xantium Trading 437, Adcorp Holdings and Europ Assistance Worldwide Services. He is Chairperson of Wescoal Holdings and Simeka Capital Holdings. Through his directorships and interests in the different areas of business, Robinson has been involved in a number of investment initiatives in the Mining, Property, Aviation and ICT sectors to mention a few. This includes exploring a number of opportunities with government, listed mining and property companies.

He has also made valuable contributions in various transformation and empowerment initiatives. In his term of office as Director-General for the Department of Public Service and Administration (1999 – 2003) he served as: Chairperson of the Directors- General Governance and Administration cluster of government, Board member of the State Information Technology Agency (SITA) and the Centre for Public Service Innovation (CPSI). He also served as Commissioner for the Presidential National Commission on Information Society (PNC on ISAD), as Chairperson of the Interim Council of the North West University and as Chairperson for the Interim Management Team on the Eastern Cape Investigation. Prior to his term as Director-General he served as Advisor to the Ministers of Public Service and Administration (Ms. Geraldine Fraser-Moleketi and Dr. Zola Skweyiya), the Gauteng MEC for Education (Ms. Mary Metcalfe) and the United Kingdom Department of International Development (DFID).
